"What Did You Do In School Today?"
I had the pleasure of illustrating a story my grandmother wrote while a kindergarten. Here is a sample of that body of work.
What did you do in school today? By Janette Shrader is a short story about a young boy coming home from kindergarten and telling his grandfather about the wonders and independence of school. He tells him experiences of art lessons, recess, music class, going to the bathroom all by himself, and snack time.
This story celebrates the introduction of schooling in a child’s life and allows children not in school yet to see what it may be like.
